What is a Will?

A Will is a legal document which acts as a road map for your family, the lawyers, and the judge throughout the probate process. In your Will, you can make decide who will inherit from your estate, name who will be in charge of your probate, and nominate guardians for your minor children.

Many people mistakenly believe that having a Will allows them to avoid probate. This is not true! To avoid probate, you will need to set up a more advanced estate plan.
